The following are the toolbar functions for DNE Maps:
 Close the application
 Change user name
 Export map as a template
 Load map template
 Open map instance
 Save map instance
 Magnification - NEs on the map can be shown at three different magnifications, depending on whether you want to view more NEs or if you want to view them larger. You can view:
| • | 8 columns of 6 NEs each (8 x 6) |
| • | 12 columns of 9 NEs each (12 x 9) |
| • | 16 columns of 12 NEs each (16 x 12) |
 Print data - Allows you to print fields for any NE or file.
 Copy data to clipboard - Allows you to copy fields for any NE or file and paste them into another application.
 Replace this file - You can replace one file with another by dragging the new file onto the current one. When a file is replaced, all the fields remain the same, only the file has been replaced.
 Delete this file - When you delete a file, it is replaced by a placeholder. The placeholder keeps its fields but does not link to anything (allowing you to replace the file you delete now with some other file at a later date).
 &  File link - In some maps, files are linked directly, cutting across NEs. This makes it easy to skip steps when this is appropriate and when you have all the right information, and then skip backward to where you were. links forward and then links backward.
 /  NE name/object model description toggle - The map will either display the names of the NEs in the map or any descriptions that may have been attached to the NEs.
