Searching

DNE Maps has a search engine that searches on files, NEs and meta-data fields. The search engine can find any object in the map based on text entered into any information field for that object.

How to Search

1.	Click the on the toolbar or hit F3. The search engine dialogue box will appear.

2.	In the dialogue box, select

File

•	Knowledge Element or

•

Data

to determine what sort of object you are searching on. Then,

3.	Type the desired text into the Text box,

Select

•	Exact Match or

•	Starts with this text

as appropriate, then

5.	Click Search Now.

Results, for files and NEs, appear in the bottom section of the engine.
