Trace Forward

In object model mode, the complete range of impacts upon and influences of the active NE can be seen in the Maps room. However, an NE does not have to be activated in order to see some of the implications that it will have for other NEs in the model. If you trace forward any NE, you can see which NEs it will impact and which NEs it will not impact. In association, trace forward is indicated on the indicator and control.

To trace forward:

2.	A will appear in the bottom right corner of the NE. Click and hold on the .

3.	The on all forward impacted NEs will light up.

Trace forward highlights only the NEs that are already present in the Maps room. This means that trace forward does not give an exhaustive list of the forward implications of an NE, but rather indicates the implications of the traced NE on those NEs that are also related to the active NE. To see the full forward implications of any NE, you must activate it in the Maps room.
