A text field is a piece of fixed text. Like a book field, it contains text, but, unlike a book, you cannot update the content of a text field on the front field. Essentially, a text field is like a stand-alone title for a book. A text field can be used in any occasion where you want to include a piece of information that you don't want changed or updated. Of course, the field can be deleted or renamed on the back field, but the information presented in a text field than in any other field.
