Rooms

The DNE manages information in a virtual office environment. The DNE contains a number of rooms. Some of these rooms are multipurpose workrooms while others are dedicated to a single function.

Three workrooms each come equipped with two multimedia editors that allow you to work with multimedia information and a tile spiller that is used to organize all your information.

The Maps room allows you to view complex information relations between NEs and to use the DNE's object modeling functionality.
The Internet Manager manages internet research.
The fusebox manages user profiles and system information (cannot be configured).
The Desktop replicates your desktop (cannot be configured).

Renaming Rooms

Workrooms can be renamed, and are saved under whatever name you give them. This means that you can rename a room for a particular proposal, and then find all the work you used for that proposal just by searching for the room named for that proposal. And if you utilize the auto-file function, this search will return a room configuration tile for every day during which you worked on the proposal, effectively recreating the process by which the proposal came into being.

Moving the DNE

You can move the DNE by dragging the move DNE in the bottom left corner of any room.
