Previewing a Tile

Media Player with Preview There are two types of previewing in the DNE:

•	In any room (and always on all spill lines), you can see a thumbnail for any image or video tile, or for any other tile for which you have set a thumbnail preview. Just click an or a tile and a thumbnail of the image or of the first frame of the video will appear on the media player.

•	When editing audio or video information with the audio/video editor you can preview any clip in order to ensure it captures the sound bite or video bite that you want.

The media player will show a thumbnail for any tile that has one (all images and videos, plus any other tile for which you have set a thumbnail preview image).

•	Click on any tile and keep your mouse over the tile. Its thumbnail preview will appear in the media player.

In workrooms, the function of the preview is to assist in editing clips. After creating a clip, you can preview it in order to make sure that the clip captures the video bite or sound bite that you want. Continue edit the clip and preview it again until it is exactly the way you want it.

Each spill line in the tile spiller also previews tiles in the sense that image and video tiles are represented on the lines by a thumbnail either of the image or of any frame in the video.
