DNE Center

back view When you are working in one or another of the rooms in the DNE, you can only see the room that you are working in. However, if you back into the center of the DNE, you can survey more than one room at a time. From the center you can see three rooms at the same time, including all the work being done in each. You can see:

•	Whether or not there is an NE active,

•	Whether or not there is a tile playing,

•	Which NEs are spilled in each of the workrooms,

•	And which object model is being used in the Maps room.

As well, since the cabinet stands at DNE center, you can look at and use what you have in your cabinet at the same time as you see what you have open in each room.

All activity involving the cabinet is done at the DNE center. This includes

•	Adding NEs the cabinet,

•	Rearranging the contents and relations between NE in the cabinet,

•	Activating NEs in a room,

•	Placing NEs from the cabinet onto various benches, and

•	Placing NEs from the cabinet onto various spill lines.

NEs are activated from the DNE center, by dragging NEs from the cabinet and dropping them in the room where you want to work on them. Only one NE can be active at one time in one room. However, a number of different NEs can be activated at the same time if each is activated in a different room. Because you have full access to all the rooms in the DNE, you can drop different NEs in different rooms at the same time.

All the NE's association areas can be populated from the cabinet. This is a very fast way to affiliate an NE with a number of different NEs, since you can open a number of different NEs in different panels in the cabinet and then take whatever you want in short order.
