Object Model Builder

The DNE not only supplies you with several different object models, but it also allows you to create your own models, tailored to your own particular needs. These models can be personalized by adding any graphic to represent an NE in the model. The DNE is a flexible modeling environment in which you can build and use any type of model that you want. If your company currently utilizes a particular modeling method, you do not have to adapt your system to the DNE - the DNE will adapt to you.

The Object Model Builder (OMBuilder) is a stand-alone application in which you build personalized models for use in the DNE. Any model built in OMBuilder is available for use in the DNE the next time it is opened.

A model is built by:

•	Naming object types for the model (in the template models included with the DNE, the objects are named for their colors and/or shapes),

•	Assigning a graphic to represent each object type, and then

•	Naming the model as a whole.
