NE in Maps Room

Top  Previous  Next

association roomThe Maps room presents the direct and indirect knowledge and object model relations in which an NE stands. When an NE is activated in Maps, each NE with which it is related, directly or indirectly, appears on its map, which extends to fill the room (as in the example above). The association lines that link each NE to the active NE track the impact path, so you can quickly see not only that two NEs are related, but also how they are related.

Each NE displayed in the Maps room is related to the active NE in a particular model or in default mode. You can switch between models, or show any combination of models at the same time, if you are looking at an NE that has an impact in more than one model.

Models are always displayed context-sensitively. They are built around the active NE, so everything on the map either leads to the active NE (everything on the left) or leads from the active NE (everything on the right). The closeness of each relation is indicated by the proximity of the NE to the central active NE, and the contribution path is indicated between two NEs can be tracked on the association lines that link each NE to the active NE for which the model presents all relevant object model relations.
