How to Use the Web Recorder: Browsing

Browse the web as you normally do.

When a new page is opened, this will be recorded passively by the session recorder, which adds a new IO web page icon or web recorder - web page icon with preview for every page visited. The new IO web page icon or web recorder - web page icon with preview is added on the left hand side of the web recorder.

Topic recorders are not populated passively. You have to populate them from the web browser recorder as you go.

To add a web page from the browser recorder to any topic recorder:

Click the web recorder - add on any topic recorder to add the current web page to that recorder, or
Drag any web page IO web page icon or web recorder - web page icon with preview onto the desired topic recorder line.

By default, web pages are named by the publisher and web browser (for instance, the Dekstrus page is named "Dekstrus.com - Microsoft Internet Explorer"). However, you can rename any web page.

To rename a web page:

1.Rightclick the IO web page icon or web recorder - web page icon with preview whose name you want to change.
2.Select Rename.
3.A dialog box will ask you to "Enter new URL name?" Type a name and click OK.
