How to Link an NE or Tile to a Web Page

There are two ways that you can make a hyperlink to a web page.

•Create a web page as a tile (NEs only)
•Create a hyperlink to the page in the fields area (NEs and tiles)

 

To create a web page as a tile Tile Brwsr Lt (NE only):

1.Open the DNE
2.Open your web browser
3.Activate the NE to which you want to affiliate the tile
4.Open the web page you want to affiliate to the NE
5.Rightclick on the active NE
6.Select Create Web Address as a Tile
7.The DNE will create a link to the web page as a Tile Brwsr Lt tile and add the tile to the tile scroller of the active NE.

 

To link to a web page via fields (NE or tile):

1.Open fields on active NE.
2.Web links can only exist in a book field. Open a book field.
3.If no book fields are open, or if you want to use a new book field, introduce a new book field
4.Type the complete address for the web page: e.g. "http://www.dekstrus.com"
5.The DNE will display the address as blue and underlined.
