How to Email from an NE or Tile

In order to be able to email from an NE or tile, an email hyperlink must be created in fields for the NE or tile.

To create an email hyperlink in a book field:

1.	On the active NE, open fields.

2.	Email links can only be made on a book field. Open a book field.

3.	If there is no book field, or if you want the hyperlink in a new field, introduce a book field

4.	In the book field, type "mailto:" followed, without any space, by the email address. E.g.: "mailto:help@dekstrus.com"

5.	If the hyperlink is successful, the DNE will underscore the address and color it blue. If the address remains black, the address is probably not entered correctly.

To email from an NE or tile:

1.	Click on the email hyperlink.

2.	The DNE will open your email program.

3.	Email as normal

The DNE emails via your default email program. Make sure that your email program is configured correctly in order to email from an NE or tile.
