How to Create an NE

NE-openingNEs can be created in the cabinet or in an association area of an active NE. The animation shows an NE created in the affinity area.

 

In the cabinet:

1.The cabinet organizes NEs in a tree structure, like a folder-file structure. Open the cabinet and panel in which you want the NE to reside.
2.Drag the new NE - rename NE from the left side of the cabinet roof and drop it in the target panel.
3.A dialog box will open, prompting you to name the new NE. Enter the name.
4.Click OK.

 

Or, in any front room:

 

1.Ensure the target NE is open in any panel in the cabinet.
2.Rightclick anywhere on the active NE,
3.Mouseover Create and Open an NE in Cabinet..., and
4.Select the target NE.
5.A dialog box will open, prompting you to name the new NE. Enter the name.
6.Click OK.

 

The NE will be created in the cabinet and activated in the room. It will not have any association link to the previously active NE.

 

 

In an association area of an active NE:

 

1.Drag the new NE - rename NE from the cabinet roof at the bottom of the room and drop in in the target association area.
2.The DNE will open a dialog box and ask you to name the new NE. Type the desired name for the new NE.
3.Click OK.

 

 

i_blueCabinet relations and NE relations are built independently. Two NEs that are related in the cabinet may or may not be related via affinities or contributions, and vice versa.
