How to Create a Tile from Microsoft Explorer

If the DNE is open:

1.	Select the files you want,

2.	Drag the files from Microsoft ® Explorer® and drop them on any visible NE in the DNE (includes any active NE, any associated or history NE, any NE in cabinets and any NE on a map or model in the Maps room).

If the DNE is closed:

1.	Find the file or files you want to drag into the DNE

2.	Rightclick on the file.

•	To select more than one file, hold the control key and click on each desired file, then rightclick on any of the selected files.

3.	Mouseover Send To, and

4.	Select Create DNE Tile.

5.	The DNE will ask you to: "Press Yes to copy the file(s) as DNE Tile(s) Press No to link the file(s) to DNE Tile(s)". Make the appropriate selection.

The tile will be added to the drag-in folder. It must be affiliated with an NE.

To affiliate a drag-in tile with an NE:

1.	Rightclick on the selected NE. Any NE except a benched NE can be affiliated with a drag-in tile.

2.	Select Import Files from Drag-In Folder.

3.	All tiles in this folder will be added to the tile scroller of the selected NE.
