How to Copy Tiles

Top  Previous  Next

Tiles can be copied either with the spill lines or directly from the tile scroller of an NE.

Using spill lines in any workroom:

The spill machine must be open and the tile scrollers of the relevant NEs must first be spilled. Once the NEs have been spilled:

To copy a tile from one scroller onto the same scroller:

1.Rightdrag it from its present location and drop it in the preferred location.
2.The DNE will ask you if you want to move the tile or to copy it. Select "Copy".
3.The tile will take its place and the other tiles will shuffle out of the way automatically.

To copy a tile from one NE to another, both the scroller the tile is currently attached to and the target scroller must be spilled.

1.Rightdrag the tile from its present scroller and drop it onto the preferred scroller in the desired location.
2.The DNE will ask you if you want to move the tile or to copy it. Select Copy.
3.The tiles in each NE will reshuffle around the change.

To copy a tile from a spill line onto any NE in any association area or in history:

1.Drag any tile from any spill line, and
2.Drop it on any NE in any association area or in history.

In any room, tiles can also be copied (but not moved):

Drop any visible tile onto any visible NE.

If you do not use the spill method to copy a tile from one NE to another, then the tile will always be added to the end of the tile scroller. If you use the spill method, then the tile will always be added to whatever point in the order you dragged it to.

i_blueIf you drop the tile to the left, to the right or between tiles on the target spill line, then the tile will be added to the left, to the right or between those tile. If you drop the tile on top of another tile on the target spill line, then it will be stacked on top of that tile.
