For users with two monitors or who keep their screen resolution higher than 1024x768, it is possible to extend the DNE to utilize the extra real estate. Rooms can be used at 100%, 125%, 150% and 200% of their normal size. In any workroom, where you can normally spill 8 tiles, this means that you can spill 10, 12 or 16 tiles when the room is extended.

Not all rooms can be extended. You can extend all workrooms, the Presentation room and Internet Manager. The Maps room, Desktop and Fusebox cannot be extended

How to Extend Rooms

Rooms are extended using the bar on the bottom right of the DNE, just above the bench. To change the extension of the room:

•	click the appropriate button for the room extension you want.

•	top button = full size

•	second button = extend 25%

•	third button = extend 50%

•	bottom button = extend 100%

The tool is indicated with the Left-Extend-Screen cursor.

How far you can extend your screen depends on the resolution at which you have set your monitor(s). If your resolution is low (1024x768 is required to run the DNE) then you will not be able to extend your rooms and the bar will not appear. The DNE provides only the possibilities that your monitor resolution supports. If some or all of the buttons appear, then the DNE has determined that you are able to extend your room.
