DNE User Profiles

The DNE allows different users access to the same work space while tracking the authorship of tiles and NEs of each user. Each time the DNE is engaged, you are asked to sign in with a name and password. All NEs and tiles introduced during a work session are attributed to the user who is signed in when the NE or tile is created.

By default, the DNE offers two user profiles: administrator and guest. An administrator is allowed to register new user profiles (a personal profile for each user). A guest is not permitted to register new profiles. However, a guest is permitted to create tiles and NEs just like an other user. These tiles and NEs are attributed to "Guest" in the fields area for the tile or NE.

The DNE offers two levels of access for users. These levels of access are determine on the user profile for each user. A user can be registered either as an administrator or as a general user. Both general users and administrators can introduce NEs and tiles and have these NEs and tiles attributed to them. An administrator, unlike a general user, may register other users and may publish NEs.
