In the DNE, information is never lost. NEs and tiles that have been deleted can be found again in the search engine. However, NEs and tiles can be deleted permanently in Utilities. This may improve performance of the DNE, but will mean that the deleted NEs and tiles cannot be recovered. When Utilities generates the NE and tile lists, a  is placed beside the NEs and tiles that currently exist in the DNE, and an  is placed by NEs and tiles that have been deleted, but are still recoverable via the search engine. If you want to permanently delete NEs or tiles, this is where it's done.
How to clean up data in system:

 Note that all your tiles and all your NEs are listed. Ensure that you look through the whole list before deleting, to ensure that you do not delete anything that you want to keep.
