Many features of the cabinet structure are accessed on the dome. Although the cabinet itself is not visible in any front room, a reflection of its dome appears on the window in each of the rooms, just below the bench. The reflection includes many of the same controls that appear on the cabinet.
While the orientation of the cabinet roof is different on the reflection in the front rooms from how it appears atop the full cabinet structure, the tools are the same and perform the same functions in the same way.
New/Rename
New/Rename allows you to create a new NE in any association area, or to rename any visible NE or tile.

To rename an NE or tile:
1.
Drag the NE or tile onto the . A dialogue box will appear.
2.
Enter the new name, and
3.
Click .
Menu
Themenu is your point of access to the various functions of the cabinet.

Click to access the cabinet menu. You will then be able to select from the following menu:
Search engine and quicksearches
The search engine opens the search results page.

To open the search engine to search results:
•
Click the .
Quicksearches allow you to search for NEs and tiles by name.
•
To search on NEs by name:
1.
Click. A dialogue box will appear.
2.
Enter the name of the NE you want, and
3.
Click.

To search on tiles by name:
1.
Click. A dialogue box will appear.
2.
Enter the name of the tile you want, and
3.
Click.
The GEV is currently non-functional, and the big picture is currently functional only at the cabinet.
Show parent map and show tree
Show parent map traces the shortest path from a tile or NE to the top level cabinet in which it can be found. For NEs that reside in the cabinet, this is always via its cabinet relations. For NEs that do not reside in the cabinet, this involves tracing a path to the cabinet via other NEs.

To show parent map for an NE or tile,
•
Drag the top half of the ball onto the NE or tile.
Show tree displays the NE's position in the cabinet tree structure.

To show the tree for an NE.
•
Drag the bottom half of the ball onto the NE
Not all NEs have trees: only the ones that exist in the cabinet.
