There are three association areas, reflecting the three general ways in which projects might be connected. These three areas are the affinity area, the contributes to wing and the contributions by wing. These areas are opened in separate steps.
To access association areas:
1.
Click on the second gold bar of the active NE to open the affinity area. Affinity opens downward from the active NE and, when opened, the gold bar at its bottom is broken into three segments .
2.
The leftmost segment opens the contributions by wing. Click on this segment to open the wing.
3.
The rightmost segment opens the contributes to wing. Click on this segment to open the wing.
4.
Each of the association areas has scroll controls and , to allow you to view any NEs that may be hidden. For information on how to access hidden association NEs, click here.
5.
To close either wing, click either on the segment of the bar which opened that wing, or on the gold bar at the bottom of the wing (e.g., or ).
6.
To close affinity (and to close any wing that might be open), click on the segment of the .
