The DNE Desktop offers shortcut desktops, or links to often used folders in Microsoft® Explorer®. You have one-click access to:

Also, you have direct access to your bookmarks (set in your default browser) from the Desktop.
How to access your Windows® folders
| 1. | Click Microsoft on the top toolbar, and |
| 2. | Select the desired shortcut on the dropdown menu. |
| 3. | Navigate your tree structure as normal. |
How to create a desktop from a Windows folder
| 1. | Click Desktop on the top toolbar, |
| 2. | Select Import a Windows folder to the Desktop |
| 3. | In the Browse for Folder navigator, select the desired folder, and |
| 5. | You will be prompted to name the new desktop. Name it and |
If you create a desktop from a folder, then the new desktop allows you to work directly with the files and folders, not with shortcuts. Therefore, if you create a desktop from a folder, and delete an object from the desktop, this will delete the file or folder from the source file as well.

How to move a file from the DNE Desktop into your regular Windows® environment
| 1. | Place the file on the bench |
| 2. | Open the target Windows folder via the Microsoft top toolbar, and |
