Drag anything and drop it where you want it to be.

 

i_blueYou can drag multiple objects from any desktop to the bench

1.Click and hold the Ctrl key while you
2.Select the desired objects, then
3.Drag any of the selected objects down onto the bench.

 

How to rename an object

 

Rightclick on the object (folder, file, NE or tile),
Select Rename.
A dialogue box will ask you to name the object. Type in the new name, and
Click button OK.

 

How to delete an object

 

1.Rightclick on the object,
2.Select Delete.

 

i_blueThe bench is a knowledge management strategies intended for short-term access to information, while the cabinet is a complementary knowledge management strategy intended for long-term storage of information. If an object is deleted from the bench, this does not remove it from the cabinet.

 

How to add or change a preview for an object

How to remove a thumbnail preview for an object

1.Rightclick on the object to which you want to attach the thumbnail,
2.Mouseover Change Preview Image, and
3.Select Clear Current Image.

 

i_blueThumbnail previews only apply on the desktop, on the bench and in spill (for tiles only) In the cabinet (and in spill for NEs only), NEs and tiles are represented by designated icons that indicate information type.

 

How to find the target for an object

1.Rightclick on the object, and
2.Select Find Target.

 

i_blueThe target for an object on the bench is that object's pathway in your folder/file structure, so the target will be accessed by opening a Windows® Explorer window to the folder or file.

 

How to change the target for an object

 

Rightclick on the object, and
Select Change this Link.
